Take a non-stick fry pan put into it 2 tsp oil cumin seeds and onion saute it put ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli, green chilli chopped salt and washed masoor dal, sabut or half then put curry leaves and put 1 cup of water mix well and put lid to pan for daal to cook,till the water is dry cook it for 2 min and garnish with coriander leaves. serve hot with chapati or naan.
Cumin seeds can be used if we do not want onion or both are used it taste nice.In this sookha daal i don't like tomato, some like it u can use tomato when u add onion.
- 1 cup masoor dal
