Sem ke Phalli Sabzi

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of chopped flat beans/val papdi(Sem ke phalli)
  •  1 medium aubergine chopped
  •  1-2 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 3-4 Green chilli
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves (garnish)
  • Indian flat beans cooked with potato and peanut powder - a delicious combination.
  •  Potato - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbs
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbs
  • Onion - 1
  • Ginger paste - 1/2 tbs
  • Garlic paste - 1/2 tbs
  •  Coriander powder
  • Salt - as per taste
Method
               In a non stick pan take 2 tsp oil and add muster seeds cumin seeds,haldi, red chilli, onion, ginger garlic paste, peeled and chopped potato,cut small pieces of tomato,coriander pd,peanut roasted and pd, garam masala with 2 cup of flat beans chopped add 1/2 cup of water to soften the vegetables when the sem ke philli is soft put coriander leaves for garnishing.curry is ready to serve with roti, or steam rice.
