This is a kind of dry powder made with different spices and dosa maker
only in the streets of south india will sprinkle this powder on top of
dosa before serving in to the plate it tastes excellent and also hot .

Heat a griddle put the dosa batter and spread it and put 4 pieces of the butter on top of this and make upma separately, pours the thin upma on it, add gun powder and spread it all over the dosa and add nicely chopped onions, chopped coriander, green chilly, tomatoes, cook it for a minute and transfer in to a plate.
