Turkey Tandoori

Turkey Tandoori

Ingredients
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 cup curd
pinch garama masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 number lemon juice
1 tsp red chill powder
pinch pinch red color
4 number turkey legs
pinch pinch turmeric


Directions
• Take turkey legs slit the legs so that marination goes in
• Take a pan add curd, red chill pwder, turmeric,coriander powder,cumin powder,ginger garlic paste,kasturi methi powder,lemon juice,garama masala powder and mix well and some red color and mix again.
• Now marinate this to turkey legs leave it for 30min a side
Put marinade over chicken, cover with .
Then remove   and any marinade in bottom of dish, put back on chicken.
Cover with tin foil and put in pre-heated oven for approx 1 ½ hours or the recommended time as per the instructions on packaging.
Temperature of oven 180 Celsius / 350 F or gas mark 4

Basin chicken half way through and at the end.

When chicken is cooked, leave chicken to rest for 15 to 20 mins  and finally into the oven for around 20 minutes.
The nicest thing of this is smokey flavor which it gets by tandoor( traditional clay oven).

However, since most people don't have a tandoor in their kitchen, they can do it in microwave following this recipe. There is another  recipe of chutney with which Tandoori Chicken is best served.
