Fish Curry

Fish curry in tamarind sauce is a tangy & spicy recipe popularly known as Chapala pulusu in Andhra Pradesh state of India. Fish curry is well blended with tamarind juice and other spices. It is also called as Meen Kozhambu in the Tamil Nadu and Kerala states of India especially the coastal regions.

Ingredients
  • 1 springs coriander leaves
  • 20 grams coriander pd
    10 grams cumin pd
  • few leaf curry leaves
    3 grams fenugreek seeds
    500 grams fish
    3 grams garam masala pd
  • 10 grams ginger garlic paste
    3 grams mustard
  • 2 medium onion
    10 grams red chilli pd
  • 10 grams sesame seeds
  • 30 grams tamarind
  • 1 pinch turmeric


 Method
• roast sesame seeds, fenugreek seeds, coconut pd
• fry onions
• make paste of both mixture
• heat oil , add mustard , cumin curry leaves green chili
• ginger garlic paste cook and add the paste of the ground spices
• cook and add tamarind paste , coriander pd cumin pd,chilli pd and add tamarind juice and cook for 15 min and reduce the sauce
• add fish and simmer
