Besan Pare

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (plain flour, maida)
  • 1 cup gram flour (basen)
  • 2 tablespoons fine semolina flour (fine sooji)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 1/4 spoon salt, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli
  • 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
  • Pinch of asafetida (hing)
  • About ½ cup water
  • Oil to fry

Method 

  • Take a bowl put all purpose flour,combine besan atta (chickpea flour),asafetida,
  •  red chilli flakes, carom seeds,salt and baking soda in a bowl.
  •  Add little by little water and make this mixture into a thick paste free of lumps into dough.
Roll the flour in to chapati dough,make a chapati cut it into diamond shape  or squire shape. and deep fry in oil till golden brown color.
