Double ka meetha

Double ka Meetha is an exotic dessert made with bread, milk, sugar syrup and nuts. Double ka meetha is also known as Shahi Tukra. Indian bread sweet
Ingredients
  • 1 loaf breadImage result for double ka meetha recipe
  • 1 cup cashew,almonds finely chopped,kishmish.
  • 3  cardamom pd
  • 1/2 kg  ghee or Dalda
  • 4 drops lime optional
  • 500 ml milk
  • pista,dated,raisins
  • 1 pinch safron color
  • 300 grams sugar


 Method
• cut bread into halves of triangle remove sides and let them dry over night or 4 hrs morning to noon in sun , fry in ghee till golden brown

• make sugar syrup flavored with cardamom and few drops of lime juice and safron color

• make rabdi with milk (slowly boil milk till it is reduced to 1/4 the of original.Soak fried bread in milk then put sugar syrup on top of it and cook for few min,

•  . put all nuts and dry fruits over the sweetened bread and pour over rabdi.remove from heat, serve hot or cold. with milk maid or rabdi topping.
