Burani Raita
All that heavy dose of meat needs some balancing out and the Burani Raita is just the kind of thing you need to achieve this balance of flavor. Burani Raita is an integral part of the Hyderabadi cuisine and is most loved for its garlic infused flavor. The locals enjoy the burani raita with biryani and pulao, but it tastes equally good with any mutton delicacy accompanied with naan.- 2 cup Curd
1 springs coriander leaves - 1 cup onion finely
1 pinch salt
100 gm Carrot - 100 gm Cucumber
- 100 gm grapes any purple or green
- 2 green chilly
method
• whisk the curd to fine consistency
• add all the ingredients and mix
Onion Raita is delicious yogurt based side dish and an excellent cooling accompaniment to various spicy flavored rice dishes such as biryanis, pulaos and Indian breads. It is mildly spiced and adds a cooling effect and crunch to your meal.
