i want to show you how to make delicious beetroot puri or beetroot deep fried puffed bread recipe.Its a tasty & healthy dish.Its loved by children.A colorful dish that attracts children and also other people. I had made this beetroot poori couple of times and it always are a stunner with their attractive color.Its so simple recipe and easy to make.Every Indian people love any type of puffed bread or puri.Puri is most commonly served at breakfast. It is also served at special or ceremonial functions as part of ceremonial rituals So lets see what ingredients will need for this recipe.
Ingredients:
Beet root 1 medium size
All purpose flour 1 cup
Salt pinch of
Baking powder 1/2 spoon (optional)
Method:
Peeled the beetroot and slice it.In a pressure cooker boil the beetroot in half cup water and give 2-3 whistle.Once the beetroot cooked then chopped it and blend it and make a smooth paste.Next in a big bowl add the all purpose flower, salt and baking powder.Mix them well.Then add the 3-4 spoon of beetroot pure and make a smooth dough.Set aside for 10 minutes.After couple of minutes again knead it perfectly and divide it into small balls.Now make it round in shape using your both pumps and make it flat again.Then take some dry flour and roll it using a rolling pin.Now fry the puris in to the hot oil.For that you can use any kind of cooking oil.I am using vegetable oil for fry the puris.Fry the puris for 30-40 second into both side.Once the puri puffed up perfectly then turn the other side.Now take out the puri from the hot oil and place it in a pepper towel.Serve this deep fried beetroot puri with any kind of curry like potato curry,chola curry or any sauce.Try this recipe at your home and i am sure if your family and kids does not like beetroot they will definitely love this beetroot puris.Enjoy..
