Rice Kheer


Rice Kheer is a Classic! It does not matter which part of India you go to or come from, this milk with rice and sugar concoction (with few variations) is going to win your heart. So much so , it is now famous and is known to the world as "Rice Pudding". Here are some other regional names that we lovingly call this dish -- Kheer, Khir, Payasam, Payasa or Kheeri. Any others?

Ingredients

1 cup cooked basmati rice
2 cups milk
1 cup koya
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp raisins
1tsp almond sliced
1 tsp piste sliced
1 tsp cashew sliced
1 cardamom pd
1 tsp ghee


method
wash and boil rice  with 2 cups of  milk when the rice is almost cooked add  sugar and cook till rice is mashy,
• Let it cook for 5 to 10 min in slow flame and keep mixing it.

add sautes dry fruits and add cardamom powder and cook till rice  kheer is ready .

•Then   stir it,  and keep mixing.

•  mix then add Koya to it,keep mixing for 5 min your kheer is  is ready.
