Mildly spiced coated fish steam cooked in banana leaves. This dish is a
very popular delicacy food from the Bengali cuisine. Highly flavorful
and tasty acquiring the flavor of mustard seasoning.
Cumin seeds, green chilly, whole garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves, grated coconut, salt, pinch of sugar, lemon juice, all these ingredients blend in a blender, make a paste.
Marinate the fish with made masala and put it in the banana leaves and fold it.
Place these on the steamer and cook for 12min or till cooked.remove from leaves and serve.
Ingredients:
- Fish 500 g
- Cumin seeds 1tsp
- Green chilly 3 no
- Whole garlic 5 no
- Coriander leaves 2bunch
- Mint leaves 1 bunch
- Grated coconut 1 cup
- Salt
- Sugar 1 pinch
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Banana leaves 2 no
