Chicken Shawarma Recipe



Ingredients

For Shawarma Bread
• All purpose Flour – 250 gms
• Baking soda – ½ teaspoon
• Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
• Salt – ½ teaspoon
• Sugar – 1 teaspoon
• Oil – 1 tbspoon
• Luke warm water – ½ cup

For Filling
• Boneless Chicken – 150 gms
• Curd – 2 tbspoon
• Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
• Ginger paste– 1 teaspoon
• Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
• Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
• Cumin Powder – 1 teaspoon
• Lemon Juice – 1 teaspoon
• Red orange food colour – 1 teaspoon
• Cabbage – 1/6 or 1 tbspoon
• Bell pepper (Yellow) – ¼
• Bell pepper (Red) – ¼
• Capsicum – ½
• Salt to taste
• Oil for cooking

For wrapping 
• Tomatoes Ketchup 
• Veg Mayonnaise

Method 
    Make maida dough with first 250 gm or 1 cup maida
 Baking soda – ½ teaspoon, Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
 Salt – ½ teaspoon, Sugar – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 1 teaspoon
• Luke warm water – ½ cup mix all ingredients and make a dough and keep aside,

for fillings   Take a bowl cut chicken long strips,Boneless Chicken – 150 gm marinate  for 10 min, chicken and all ingredients,
• Curd – 2 spoon, Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon,
• Ginger paste– 1 teaspoon,   Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon,   Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
• Cumin Powder – 1 teaspoon. Lemon Juice – 1 teaspoon,Red orange food color – 1 teaspoon, 
  Oil for cooking,
Take a pan 1 teaspoon oil then put marinate chicken in pan with hot oil so that water start become dry now add all Cabbage – 1/6 or 1 teaspoon, Bell pepper (Yellow) – ¼,,Bell pepper (Red) – ¼,, Capsicum – ½
• Salt to taste,mix well saute it and cook well, now close the flame.
Now take maida which is already made dough make 2 portions make flat roti on slow flame,cook and make it light brown color on slow flame.
Now put tomato  Ketchup You buy things here,veg mayonnaise you put on roti then put cooked chicken,
your toppings   put little more mayonnaise on top of chicken mix roll the roti and rap it. This shawarma is fresh home made hot, and delicious.
