Dahi Chana Chaat - Ramadan Recipe





Dahi Chana Chaat 
Ingredients

Boiled Chickpeas 2 cup

Boiled Potatoes 2 cups

Yogurt 4 to 5 cups

Boondi 1 cup

Tamarind Chutney 1/2 cup

Green Chutney 1/2 cup

Onion chopped 1 half

Tomato chopped 2

Green Chillies chopped 2

Coriander and Mint Leaves 
1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Red Chilli Powder to taste

Dry Roasted Cumin to 
taste

Chaat Masala to taste 

Coriander seeds 1 tsp

Cumin Seeds 1 tsp

Ajwain seeds 1 tsp

Red Chillies whole 6 dry 
roasted and grinder


. Add washed split Bengal gram or chana dal to a pan. Add 350 ml of water.

2. Close the lid and cook on low flame till Bengal gram gets tender and till the water dries up.

3. Transfer this cooked bengal gram into a bowl.

4. Add chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander, thinly diced green chilies, lemon juice (approximately 1 tablespoon), salt and black pepper powder to the boiled dal curd,onion chopped,

5. Mix thoroughly.  Serve at Iftari
