Ingredients used in Noodles Kalasa Kura |
• Chana dal (soaked) - 1 cup. |
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon. |
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon. |
• Dry red chillies - 3 number. |
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon. |
• Curry leaves - 2 springs. |
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number. |
• Salt - to taste. |
• Water - as required. |
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon. |
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 number. |
• Fried noodles - 70 grams. |
• Potatoes (boiled and mashed) - 1 number. |
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch. |
• Oil - as required. |
Method: |
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies, urad dal, curry leaves, and saute it till they splutter.
- Then add chopped onions, salt and cook it by stirring occasionally.
- In the same pan, add soaked chana dal, along with acup of water and red chilli powder, cook it for about 15 minutes with closed lid.
- Add chopped tomatoes, fried noodles, boiled and mashed potatoes and cook it for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and give it a mix.
Delicious Noodles Kalasa Kura is now ready to serve
