| Ingredients used in TOFU RICE |
| • Oil - as required. |
| • Onion(chopped) - 1 number. |
| • Salt - to taste. |
| • Capsicum(chopped) - 1 cup. |
| • Potatoes(chopped) - 1 cup. |
| • Carrot(chopped) - 1 cup. |
| • Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon. |
| • Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon. |
| • Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon. |
| • Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon. |
| • Tofu(chopped) - 1 cup. |
| • Boiled rice - 2 cups. |
| Method: |
- Heat some oil in a pan, add chopped onion, salt, saute it till onions are slightly transparent.
- Now, add chopped capsicum, potatoes, saute for about a minutesput carrot, turmeric and saute it again till it’s 80% cooked.
- Then season it with coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, tofu and mix it properly.
- In the same pan, add boiled rice and mix thoroughly.
- Switch off the flame and serve hot in a plate or pack in your kid’s lunch box.
