Dhaniya/ coriander chicken curry is a finger licking curry with the freshness of coriander leaves in it.
Ingredients:- Chicken- ½ kg
- Oil-3 tbsp
- Onion-2 nos
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Ginger chopped-1tsp
- Green chilly slit-2 nos
- Tomato-1no
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Cumin powder- ¼ tsp
- Chilly powder-1tsp
- Cardamom powder- ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder-1tbsp
- Kasoori methi- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
- Yoghurt/ curd-1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves chopped- 2tbsp
- Heat oil in a large pan; Add onions and saute until brown.
- Add ginger, green chilly and ginger garlic paste.
- Sauté until raw smell goes off.
- Add chicken pieces in to it and sauté for 7-8 minutes until changes its color.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder and kasoori methi.
- Add chopped tomato and saute until mashed well.
- Add ½ cup of boiling water and cooks for about 10 minutes.
- Add curd and garam masala powder.
- Cook until the gravy thickens and oil float on its surface.
- Add coriander leaves chopped and cardamom powder.
- Mix well and switch off the flame.
- Serve hot with the choice of your roti !!
