| • Ghee - 1 tablespoon. |
| • Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon. |
| • Dry red chilies - 3 number. |
| • Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon. |
| • Curry leaves - 3 springs. |
| • Hing (asafoetida) - pinch. |
| • Onion (chopped) - 1 number. |
| • Garlic - 5 number. |
| • Green chillies (chopped) - 3 number. |
| • Red capsicum (chopped) - 1/2 number. |
| • Green capsicum (chopped) - 1/2 number. |
| • Yellow capsicum (chopped) - 1/2 number. |
| • Toor dal - 1 cup. |
| • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon. |
| Method: |
- Boil toor dal to a thin consistency and keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, when they splutter, add dry red chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, saute them.
- Now add chopped onion pieces, turmeric powder, chopped garlic and green chilies, saute it, add capsicum pieces(red, green, yellow), boiled toor dal, adjust the seasoningsand serve hot.
