Ridge gourd peel dosa is a variety dosa. Do not throw ridge gourd peels directly into dust bin and use this to make the dosa.
A dosa is usually a thin, spicy, crunchy crêpe-like food made from fermented rice, extremely popular in restaurants in South India. It is usually offered plain with sambar and chutneys which include coconut chutney or any other curry or gravy. When served with potato folded inside, it's called masala dosa. For making omelette dosa, just pour beaten egg on the dosa before it's turned over.

Ingredients used in MATKI AND RIDGE GOURD DOSA |
• Brown bean- matki - 1 cup. |
• Ridge gourd - 1 numbers. |
• Salt - to taste. |
• Green chillies - 2 numbers. |
• Ginger - 1 piece. |
• Rice flour - 1 tablespoons. |
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number. |
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon. |
• Oil - 1 tea spoon. |
Method: |
- Soak matki for 3 hr in water.
- Take a mixie jar and add matki, ridge gourd, salt, green chillies, ginger and blend into smooth dosa batter.
- Transfer into a bowl and add rice flour, water and mix batter.
- Heat tawa and place ladleful batter and spread dosa.
- Sprinkle oil, onions, coriander leaves and cook it.
- Fold it transfer into a plate.
Now matki and ridge gourd dosa is ready to serve.
