Ingredients
- 2 cups Fresh Pineapple Peeled and Chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic Chopped
- 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Lemon Zest
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Cornflour
- 1/4 cup Water
Instructions
- Blend pineapple and garlic in a blender to make a coarse mixture.
- Add the pineapple mixture in a pan alone with pineapple juice, vinegar, lemon juice, lemon zest, brown sugar, red chilli flakes and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Mix cornflour in water and add it in the pan.
- Cook until sauce thickens.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the sauce cool down.
- Store in a glass jar for up to a week in refrigerator.
