SHEER KHURMA OR KHORMA


Ingredients

100gm  vermicille  or semiya
1liter      milk
250gm   sugar
25gm  dried  soaked  over night dates
25gm  soft sweet dates(paint  Khajur)
100gm   cashew nuts   ,  
4          cardamoms,
25gm     pistachios,
100gm   almonds
100gm   raisins
Saffron a pinch,
Method
Vermicelli are   fried in ghee,
 Then milk   is added and the vermicelli are allowed to cook further.
 As the mixture thickens, sugar and dates   are added along with any other dried fruits and cardomam. This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests
