SHEER KURMA


 SHEER KHURMA
Ingredients

100 gm  vermicille  or semiya
1 liter      milk
250 gm   sugar
25 gm  dried  soaked  over night dates
25 gm  soft sweet dates(paint  Khajur)
100 gm   cashew nuts   ,  
4             cardamoms,
25 gm     pistachios,
100 gm   almonds
100 gm   raisins
100 gm kowa
Saffron a pinch, optional

Method


All the ingredients dry fruits are washed and cleaned and  cut and sliced and fried in ghee into golden color.
Vermicelli are   fried in ghee, then when this is golden color then milk is added,
 Then milk   is added and the vermicelli are allowed to cook further.
 As the mixture thickens slightly, sugar and dates are added along with any other dried fruits,khowa and cardamom. This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests
