Till ka Khatta or chutney


Tamarind paste – 4 tbsp
Water – 2 cups


 

  Salt – to taste

Mint leaves/Pudina – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
 Onion – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Garlic paste – 1/3 tsp
Dry roasted Sesame seed paste (or blanched Almond paste) – 1 tsp
For Baghaar:
 oil – 2 tsp
Fresh Curry leaves – 4-6
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Small green chilli 2, fresh, slit into two
Method:
1. In a grinder grind   dry roasted sesame seeds ,all the ingredients under the heading – ‘For Tamarind water’.
2. Heat the oil in a small saucepan, and add curry leaves, cumin seeds and chopped green chilies. Fry for a minute. Immediately add the above prepared tamarind water  ,if u put 1 glass of water it makes khatta if u add ¼ glass of water it becomes chutney cut off fire . Cover with    lid.  Serve along with Khichdi.
