Vegetable Raita With Yogurt/Dahi


Vegetable Raita is one of the different raita's you can prepare at home. When vegetables are missed in yogurt/dahi, it comes out with very delicious and appears colorfully. 



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup thick yogurt (Dahi)
  • 1 cup finely chopped cucumber (Kheera)
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrot (Gajar)
  • 1 medium tomato seeded and finally chopped
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper finally chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted ground cumin seed
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  1. Mix the yogurt/Dahi well in a bowel. If yogurt is very thick add little water as needed to make creamy consistency.
  2. Add salt, black pepper, roasted cumin seed and paprika.
  3. Add chopped cucumber, carrot, tomatoes, and yellow bell pepper.
