Chicken Curry

  • Chicken 500 g
  • 2 tsp Curry powder
  • Cream 2 tb
  • Pepper powder 1 tb
  • Green chilly 3
  • Chopped onion (medium size) 2
  • Tomato 4
  • Coconut milk ¼ cup
  • Coriander chopped 1 bunch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tb
  • Oil 2 tb
Method


For Curry powder roast 2 tsp coriander seeds, 6 red chilli, 6 green cardamom,6 cloves 1 cinnamon stick,1/2 tsp black pepper,1 tsp cumin seeds 1 bay leaves then few curry leaves then grind it and add just 2 tsp in curry rest preserve it for future use.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions, salt, cook this till golden in color, add ginger garlic paste, saute it, add chopped tomatoes, cook it for 2 minutes and add curry powder, mix it and cook this in a slow flame, add chicken pieces, saute it put the lid on and let it cook for sometime then add water, again put the lid on and let it cook till chicken is tender.
1. Restaurant style of chicken curry :
Take the chicken curry in a pan add cream and mix it and sprinkle some coriander leaves.
2. Indian chicken fry :
Take the chicken curry in a pan add pepper powder, chopped green chilly, curry leaves, coriander leaves, saute it till the gravy is drys out and chicken fry is ready.
3. South Indian style:
Take chicken curry in a pan add coconut milk, curry leaves, mix this and cook it for 5 minutes.
