Chicken Tikka

A chicken tikka sizzler is a dish where Chicken Tikka is served on a heated plate and is served with onions. The dish is also known and eaten in Afghanistan Chicken tikka is a popular Indian chicken dish. Small pieces of boneless marinated in a mix of yogurt and spices and later baked using skewers in a clay-based oven called a tandoor.

Ingredients


1 lbs boneless chicken cubes
1 tsp red chilli paste
1 tsp coriander pd (optional)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper or chilli pd
 2 tsp lemon juice
1 small onion, ,tomato ,bell pepper
1 tsp taste salt
2 tsp sour cream or curd

 Method

• Cut chicken into small cubes,
• wash nicely and apply lemon juice
• Mix well and then keep the chicken pieces in this marinade for about 2 hours in the refrigerator.
• Put the chicken and other vegetables onto skewers and
 cook in moderately hot tandoor for about 6 to 8 minutes or in fry pan,
 keep basting the chicken pieces with butter and cook until slightly colored and cooked.
