Onion chutney is a great accompaniment to wada,idli, dosa, upma and even
appams. It is very common in all South Indian homes. this chutney even
as a spread for sandwich it taste very good.

Heat oil in a pan add red chilly, tamarind, onion, hing, fry the onions, are golden color, add salt, tomatoes, cashew nuts, cook for some time and add just little bit of jaggery, switch off the flame let it cool down and make a paste in food processor.
Serve this with rawa dosa.

- Hing
- Tomatoes 2

- Cashew nut 50 gm
- Jaggery 1 tsp
