Lukhmi
This typical mince savoury is one of the most popular starters in the Hyderabadi cuisine. The snack is the city’s answer to the good ol’ samosa, except that it is stuffed with minced meat, which only makes it so much better. The lukhmi contains a square-shaped flat patty made from dough of yogurt and flour.Ingredients:All purpose flour 1 Cup
Wheat flour 1/4 Cup
Salt to taste
Oil deep fry
Onions (finely chopped) 2
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoons
Turmeric Pinch
Green chili 3
Mint 1/2 Bunch
Coriander 1/2 Bunch
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Coriander powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Potato (boiled) 250 Grams
lemon juice 1 Tablespoons
Method
1. Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, oil make into a dough by using buttermilk and keep it aside.
2. For the stuffing heat oil in a pan add finely chopped onions, saute it for a minute then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chopped green chili, chopped mint and coriander, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, boiled potato pieces, lemon juice mix it well, let it cool down.
3. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll it like a puri.
4. Cut the puri into 2 half and stuff the potato mixture in each half and seal them by applying water.
5.Deep fry them in a hot oil till they get a nice color.
6. Serve hot .
